Streatham is where I grew up, and is a vibrant, diverse, and growing community. It is tied together by Streatham High Road, an important business hub and Europe’s longest High Street. Streatham has benefited from its diversity with a growing cultural scene including film, food, and arts festivals supported by the inStreatham business improvement district.
I was pleased to co-sponsor this excellent Early Day Motion (EDM) calling on the Government to review its policy on naming and shaming businesses that do not pay the National Minimum Wage.
