Chuka Umunna has spent two decades in law, politics, public relations and finance advising various companies, organisations and stakeholders on business-critical issues that impact on long term value – environmental, social and governance (ESG) factors in particular. He is an investment banker and head of ESG across Europe, the Middle East and Africa for a leading global financial services firm.
He previously led the ESG consultancy of the world’s biggest communications firm, was a non-executive director of several UK companies, and is a former politician who served in a number of senior roles - including as Shadow Business Secretary - for a decade in the UK parliament. He is a solicitor by profession.
