Streatham is where I grew up, and is a vibrant, diverse, and growing community. It is tied together by Streatham High Road, an important business hub and Europe’s longest High Street. Streatham has benefited from its diversity with a growing cultural scene including film, food, and arts festivals supported by the inStreatham business improvement district.

In the House of Commons I asked Government Ministers what the solution is to avoiding a hard border on the island of Ireland after Brexit. This issue has still not been settled.
In the Commons I warned that our services sector risks being left out and left behind by this Government because of reduce access to EU markets.
Our diversity is our strength and we should celebrate this today and every day. I’m proud to support our LGBT community and want to wish everyone a very happy Pride.
Celebrating the NHS’ 70 birthday at Gracefield Gardens Health Centre in Streatham. The NHS represents the best of Britain and needs a long term, sustainable plan to fund it well into the future.
