In the House of Commons just now I argued that whatever tweaks are made to the backstop the Prime Minister’s Brexit plan will still leave our country poorer.

Streatham is where I grew up, and is a vibrant, diverse, and growing community. It is tied together by Streatham High Road, an important business hub and Europe’s longest High Street. Streatham has benefited from its diversity with a growing cultural scene including film, food, and arts festivals supported by the inStreatham business improvement district.
I’ve added my name to this letter calling for an immediate vote of no confidence in the Government under the Fixed Term Parliament Act 2011 following the events of today.
