Cities of London & Westminster
I officially launched my campaign to be the next MP for Cities of London & Westminster. This area deserves an MP who will fight for decent housing, action on knife crime, and a strong NHS: stand up for our businesses against a disastrous Brexit: and be on the side of local residents.
This evening I was out on the doorsteps – with the local Lib Dem team – in Pimlico to meet local residents.
I joined fellow Liberal Democrat colleagues and other MPs opposed to Boris Johnson’s undemocratic Parliamentary shutdown calling for MPs to be recalled following ruling that it was illegal.
I voted for Dominic Grieve’s motion to require the release of all communications to or from the current administration relating to the Yellowhammer No Deal Brexit analysis produced by the Government.
I’m honoured to be appointed as the Liberal Democrat candidate for Cities of London & Westminster. I relish the prospect of ensuring this constituency is represented by an MP who will be true to its open liberal values.
