We had a fantastic evening talking to residents in the Barbican about our campaign in Cities of London & Westminster and the Lib Dems plans for Brexit, mental health, and public services!
Fantastic reception on the doorstep out with one of our teams across Cities of London & Westminster today. Lots of former Conservative and Labour voters switching to the Lib Dems!
I sat down with Iain Dale on LBC to talk about the Liberal Democrats election campaign, Brexit, our broken political system, and to take questions from listeners.
I visited the Al Maskoof Al Iraqi restaurant on Edgware Road to talk to the owner Hassan Aldabou about business on the high street and his priorities as a small business owner from this election.
Thank you to the fab Baroness Sarah Ludford for joining us on the doorstep in the Barbican! Lots of support from residents who haven’t been door-knocked by a political party before!
Out campaigning with one of our Lib Dems Cities of London & Westminster teams this eve! Lots of former Tory and Labour voters now supporting the UK’s biggest and strongest #Remain party!
I asked Dominic Raab to release the Intelligence and Security Committee’s report into Russian interference in British politics which the Government has been irregularly sitting on.
I joined Westminster Liberal Democrats to launch our campaign for Cities of London & Westminster. This is a liberal, internationalist area that deserves an MP that will stop Brexit and represent its values.
I signed Jo Swinson’s Early Day Motion calling for a People’s Vote with Remain on the ballot, to test whether there is support in this Parliament for a People’s Vote on Brexit.
I visited Grosvenor Chapel to speak to local residents in Mayfair and take their questions on Brexit and a range of local issues.
I spoke in the Commons about the vulnerable British children trapped in Syria and the need to provide them with all the support they need if we are able to repatriate them.
