What I do

Cities of London & Westminster

Out in Pimlico this afternoon with Baroness Jane Bonham Carter and the local Lib Dem team. Speaking to lots of local residents who want to Stop Brexit.

It was a pleasure to meet the Barbican Association – who represent residents on the estate – to see some of their local concerns first hand. Thanks for the invitation!

Delighted to have been joined by Observer columnist and social democrat Will Hutton. He’s backing my campaign to unseat the Tories and urging Labour Remainers to vote tactically to ensure there’s a majority for a People’s Vote in Parliament.

Spent the morning meeting residents on the Middlesex Street Estate – lots of people concerned about the impact of Brexit on jobs and the economy.

In the City of London this afternoon with a team of Lib Dem volunteers – including my furry friend Daisy – to meet local residents.

Thank you to Hugh Grant for joining me and our fantastic Lib Dem activists this afternoon for campaigning in Pimlico. Independent polling shows that the Lib Dems are best placed to beat the Tories here!

Out in Pimlico this afternoon with the Lib Dem team talking to local residents about my plan for the Cities of London & Westminster.

Great meeting entrepreneur Henry Hales, founder of Sirplus Clothing, at the Belgravia Christmas Market this afternoon. They’ve gone from a market stall in 2010 to a medium sized business with four shops including in the Princes Arcade on Piccadilly!

I’m proud to have co-founded and launched the People’s Vote campaign – great to be joined by some of their supporters today.

Big thanks to all the volunteers who joined us campaigning this morning! Lots of residents are switching to vote Lib Dem to unseat Boris Johnson’s Tories.

Canvassing in Westminster with our excellent mayoral candidate Siobhan Benita. Can’t disagree with this sign – let’s stop Brexit!

Chatting to Roberto and Anna at Le Petit Cafe on Stafford Street. This is a great cafe with amazing Italian food – check it out and support our small businesses.
