As Chair of the APPG on Social Integration I welcomed the Government’s Integrated Communities Strategy which incorporates many key recommendations from our report into the integration of immigrants.

In the House of Commons I raised the severe disruption caused to my constituents by the loss of water supply during the cold snap, and called for a public inquiry into Thames Water’s shambolic handling of the situation.

I’ve signed this important Early Day Motion (EDM) expressing concern about insufficient funding for mental health services in South London, which has led to increased waiting lists for assessment and therapy.

As Co-Chair of the APPG on EU Relations I led a delegation to Paris to talk with France’s Secretary of State for EU Affairs, Economy Minister and Cabinet Office Minister.
